for updating the DLK Pro Download Key device
to ensure compatibility with second-generation smart tachographs (Gen.2 and Gen.2 V2).

The DLK Pro is the most widely used portable device in Europe for manually
downloading tachograph data. With the introduction of Gen.2 and
Gen.2 V2 tachographs, previous-generation DLK Pro devices require
an update via this smartcard to maintain full
compatibility and continue to correctly download tachograph data
and driver cards.
