Infringement Letter
The Infringement Letter is a report prepared pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 165/2014 and Art. 7 of Ministerial Decree No 215 of 2016, and contains the list of infringements committed by one or more drivers over a given period.
It sets out the identification details and registered office of the issuing company, the reference period during which the infringements were committed, and the individual infringements together with the respective explanations.

// REPORTS
Driver Penalty Report
The Driver Penalty Report is an important tool that enables employers to monitor, in greater detail, the infringements committed by a driver. Each infringement is explained and the following information is provided: the penalty amount, any increase of one third applicable where the infringement occurred during night-time hours, the amount reduced by 30% in the event of payment within 5 days, and the amount applicable where payment is made after 60 days.
Overall, the Driver Penalty Report enables a preventive assessment of the severity of infringements committed by each employee and, where possible, allows all necessary measures to be taken to avoid penalties in the event of an inspection.

// REPORTS
Company Penalty Report
Alongside the Driver Penalty Report, SIAK SISTEMI has developed the Company Penalty Report. This tool enables employers to review the penalties that may be incurred by the company following an inspection.
The irregularities covered by the report are:
- the presence of so-called "activity gaps", i.e. failure to download data from driver cards;
- infringements relating to non-compliance with the requirements on the organisation of working time under Directive 2002/15/EC;
- so-called "joint liability penalties", relating to infringement of Art. 174(14) of the Italian Highway Code;
- for fleet vehicles, penalties relating to driving without a driver card inserted.
For all infringements, a summary of the total amounts due is provided.

// Frequently Asked Questions
Some of the most common questions about data management and DDD Manager.
DDD is the file extension format used for files downloaded from digital tachographs and driver cards. These files contain vehicle and driver activity data in encrypted form (RSA-1024).
Driver and tachograph DDD files must be retained for at least one year from the date of recording. We recommend keeping a duplicate copy to prevent loss or destruction in the event of accidental damage.
Remote data download enables the automated retrieval of DDD files — from both tachographs and driver cards — without requiring a member of staff to carry out the operations manually, thereby increasing the security and efficiency of the system.
Absolutely. It is simply necessary to notify the competent regional Ministry of Labour. Any company or organisation may take over the management of digital tachograph data on behalf of a road haulage company, and this is one of the services we offer to SIAK SISTEMI clients.
Of course. The synergy between our Development Team and Legal Team enables SIAK SISTEMI to produce reporting tailored to the specific needs of each road haulage company.
