INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL OF APRIL 27, 2016

pursuant to EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (the “Regulation”), we wish to provide you with the following information regarding the site siaksistemi.com

1. Purpose of processing

The personal data you provide to Siak Sistemi may be used for the following purposes:

  1. operation of digital channels, provision of related services, and monitoring their proper functioning;
  2. analysis and marketing through cookies: please refer to the appropriate section located at the end of this notice;
  3. to allow and manage your request for information through the appropriate contact form or via email;
  4. to manage your subscription to the newsletter through the appropriate form on the site or sent via email (previously provided);
  5. to provide consulting services related to the CQC obligation;
  6. to allow and manage your application for open positions published on the site through the appropriate form;
  7. prevention and repression of fraud/abuse/fraudulent activities carried out through the website; ascertainment, exercise, or defense of a right of the Data Controller in court.

The legal basis for processing is:

  • execution of a contract or pre-contractual measures, art.6, par. 1, lett. b) GDPR for the purposes in points 1-3-5;
  • consent of the data subject, art.6, par. 1, lett. a) GDPR for the purpose in points 2-4;
  • pursuit of the legitimate interest of the data controller, art.6, par. 1, lett. f) GDPR for the purpose in point 6.

2. Consequences in case of refusal

We remind you that, with reference to the purposes listed above, the provision of data is optional, but it would prevent the achievement of the purpose for which they are requested, compromising the provision of the service.

3. Category of processed data

The personal data processed are those communicated by you or legitimately collected by Siak Sistemi, and the types and methods of processing data related to the websites are described below:

  • Browsing/operating data of the websites: The IT systems, telematic systems, and software procedures responsible for the operation of the websites acquire, during their normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of web communication protocols. This category of data includes, for example, IP addresses, the date and time of access, the pages visited (URI/URL), the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server, the method used to submit the request to the server, the names of the devices used to connect to the sites, and other parameters related to the operating system and the user's computing environment;
  • Data collected through contact forms/newsletter subscriptions or for consultancy purposes: The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses, as well as the completion and submission of the forms available on the site, involves the acquisition of the sender's contact data, necessary to respond, as well as all personal data included in the communications;
  • Data collected from cookies: please see the appropriate section.
  • Application data: please see the appropriate policy. 

4. Recipients of the data

Your data will be processed only by personnel of Siak Sistemi who are duly authorized or by individuals appointed as Data Processors (art. 28 of EU Reg. 2016/679) for the purposes listed above. Specifically, the data may be communicated to:

  • entities that provide services for the management of the information system and communication networks (including email);
  • studies or companies in the context of assistance and consulting relationships.

Your data will not be communicated to further recipients, except for authorities and/or public entities in compliance with legal obligations.

In any case, the processing is carried out in a way that ensures the security and confidentiality of the data, through the adoption of the measures provided for by Article 32 of the Regulation in order to preserve the integrity of the processed data and prevent access to it by unauthorized individuals.

5. Data transfer to a third country.

Your data will not be transferred outside the EU.

Where necessary, the Data Controller will adopt all suitable contractual measures to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data, including, among others, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Methods of processing

The processing of your personal data will be carried out using suitable paper, electronic and/or telematic tools, with logics strictly related to the purposes mentioned above and, in any case, in such a way as to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data.

7. Data retention

Your data will be retained for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and in accordance with the specific legal provisions in this regard.

Specifically, navigation data is retained for the time necessary for the provision of the operational services of the digital channels and subsequently deleted or made anonymous.

8. Rights of the data subjects

We inform you that at any time you may exercise the rights provided within the limits and under the conditions set forth in Articles 7, 15-22 and 77 of the Regulation regarding your data.

To exercise these rights, as described below, please contact the Data Controller through the Privacy office at the email address: dpo@siaksistemi.com; a suitable response will be provided to this request within the timeframes set by the GDPR.

In detail, the data subject has the right, where applicable, to:

  • revoke the consent previously given, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before the revocation
  • request the Data Controller access, rectification or deletion (“Right to be Forgotten”) of personal data or the restriction of processing of personal data concerning them or to object to their processing;
  • obtain the portability of the data;
  • to file a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data if you believe that your rights have been violated.

9. 10. Data Protection Officer

The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who can be contacted at the email address: dpo@siaksistemi.com

11. COOKIES

Cookies are generally text strings that websites (so-called publishers or “first party”), visited by the user, or different sites/web servers (so-called “third parties”) place and store within a terminal device available to the user (so-called “active” identifiers).
