Who the courses are aimed at
SIAK SYSTEMS courses are designed for all parties involved in the management of the tachograph within transport companies:
- Professional drivers of goods vehicles with a mass exceeding 3.5 tons and of vehicles used for the transport of people with more than 9 seats, subject to the obligation of the tachograph pursuant to Reg. EC 561/2006
- Fleet managers and fleet managers
- Owners and managers of freight and passenger transport companies
- Consultants and professionals in the transport sector

How the course works
Courses are held in person and last 8 hours, with monthly dates distributed throughout Italy.
Participation is simple:

- Participate in the training day with our certified instructors
- Receive the participation certificate electronically
There is no final exam: the certificate is issued based on participation and is valid for 5 years, after which it must be renewed by attending a new course.

Frequently asked questions about tachograph training courses
Specific training on the tachograph is not absolutely mandatory by law, but transport companies are required to ensure that their drivers know and comply with the rules on driving and rest times (Reg. EC 561/2006) and on the correct use of the tachograph (Reg. EU 165/2014). In case of violations detected during roadside checks, documented training is an asset for the company.
Yes. At the end of each course, a participation certificate is issued signed by a certified MIT instructor. The certificate is valid for 5 years as documentation of the training completed and can be presented in case of inspection.
The participation certificate is valid for 5 years. Upon expiration, it is necessary to attend a new course.
