TRAINING DAY - PAVIA

The course aims to provide operators with a complete technical-regulatory framework on the digital tachograph and the methods of road checks for heavy vehicles.

The training activity is structured around the following main topics:

• Analysis of the technological evolution of tachographs, differences between the various generations of digital tachographs and interpretation of the recorded symbols.
• In-depth study of the scope of application and regulatory exemptions, with reference to categories of vehicles and activities excluded from the obligation to use the tachograph.
• Study of the regulations on driving and rest times and of the exemptions granted for specific operational needs.
• In-depth examination of the sanctioning framework with an analysis of violations related to non-compliance with driving and rest times.
• Focus on operational procedures for road checks, including visual and instrumental verification of the tachograph, analysis of stored data, and identification of any anomalies.
• Analysis of violations using computer tools, with a practical demonstration of the use of the auxiliary system “DDD Police”.

Participants in the training event will receive a certificate of participation.
