The periodic inspections on tachographs expiring between 1/09/2020 and 30/06/2021 must be carried out no later than 10 months from the expiration.

CQC RENEWAL

For the CQC renewal, if the request falls between 1/09/20 and 30/06/21, the authorities have 2 months to issue the new card.

Until the driver receives a new card, they must follow the annotation procedure that follows when there is damage to the card. It will be essential to demonstrate that the renewal of the driver's license was requested within the terms (no later than 15 days before the expiration).

In case of damage, malfunction, loss, or theft of the driver's license, when the request for replacement falls within the period from September 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, the new license must be issued within two months of receiving the request.

During the waiting period, the rule that the driver can drive for a maximum of 15 days is waived.. They will now be able to drive without a license until the new one is delivered, as long as they can prove they have submitted the damaged license and requested a replacement for it.in.
