Privacy Policy DDD Connect

DDD Connect is an application that allows users to import, export, store and manage tachograph files, as well as to acquire data and files from the digital tachograph via Bluetooth using the DDD Key device. The DDD Key operates exclusively as a connection device between the digital tachograph and the application and does not store any data.

DDD files, driver and vehicle records, and other tachograph data managed through the app are stored locally on the user's device. Except for any technical support services expressly requested by the user, SIAK Sistemi S.r.l. does not access, receive, store on its servers, or share such data with third parties.

To enable its features, the app may request permissions relating to Bluetooth, location, filesystem access and notifications. The location permission may be required by certain versions of operating systems to enable Bluetooth connectivity and is not used by SIAK Sistemi S.r.l. to locate the user or track their movements. Notifications are scheduled and managed locally on the device.

DDD Connect allows users to export or share files using the device's built-in features or third-party applications, such as email, messaging systems or other tools selected by the user. In such cases, data transmission occurs at the user's initiative and in accordance with the settings and terms of the third-party services used, without any direct transmission to SIAK Sistemi S.r.l.

Users may manage and delete data stored in the app directly from their device. Deletion performed through the app's features is irreversible. The responsibility of any company using the application, as the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing tachograph data, remains unaffected with regard to the obligations of retention, security and data availability as required by applicable law.

SIAK Sistemi S.r.l. may process personal data solely for purposes related to the distribution of the app through app stores, the handling of any support requests, or feedback voluntarily submitted by the user through the channels made available by the distribution platforms, within the limits of the information actually provided by the user or made available by the distribution platforms.
